To ensure patient safety and maximize instrument longevity, follow these clinical steps:

1. Pre-Operative Bur Inspection: Insert a compatible 1.59 mm–1.60 mm Friction Grip (FG) bur. Press the rear push button firmly, insert the bur fully, and release. Tug the bur to verify it is locked safely before activation.
2. Cooling Calibration: Ensure the dental chair's water control is open. The single water spray must hit the cutting tip of the bur directly to avoid thermal damage to the dental pulp.
3. Cutting Technique: Use light, intermittent brush-like strokes. Do not apply heavy lateral pressure, as the high-torque head cuts through tissue with minimal force. Excessive pressure stalls the turbine and wears out the ceramic bearings early.
4. Post-Operative Decontamination: Remove the bur immediately after use. Clean the external body under running water, apply a dedicated spray lubricant through the air intake drive line, and autoclave the handpiece at 135°C before using it on the next patient.
